Materials
Andrea's knitted products are all made using a super fine Geelong lamb's wool and for special commissions, the finest cashmere produced, dyed and spun in the Kinross area of Scotland. Having worked with these wools for over five years Andrea has produced a collection of scarves which has been developed to the highest standards, particularly regarding tension, weight and handling.
Colours
All colours have been carefully selected by Andrea to create combinations which are both attractive and unique. Much time is spent experimenting and developing visual research. Some themes are harmonious, others are chosen for their distinct edgy vibrancy.
Detail
All of Andrea's work is handmade and hand finished. Attention to detail is of the utmost importance with each individual item. Her collections of scarves range from subtle and understated to unusually bright, plain and stripy, both uniform and random.
About Andrea
After leaving Brighton University with a BA Hons. degree in Fashion Textiles, Andrea spent several years in industry. In recent years, she has concentrated solely on developing her knitwear collections and designing embroidery, samples of which are regularly sold around the world through her agents in London, New York & Japan.
